About The New Chamber Website

The new Chamber website was built by Roan Mitchell, a local partnership between David Biddix and Chanse Simpson. Chanse designed and created the webpages and took 90 percent of the photos on the site. David built the directories, calendars, and individual member profiles as well as handing webmaster duties and all technical aspects of transitioning to the new site. The Chamber logo of Otway Burns with the wind at his back was created by Chad Fox. The drone photos of Burnsville Town Square and Mount Mitchell were taken by Sam Dean. Contributing photographers to the website include Britt Kaufmann and Denise Cook. Roan Mitchell extends a very special thanks to Chamber Director Ginger Johnson, Member Services Coordinator Jaime Duvall and Chamber Board Members, and a heartfelt appreciation to all the people of Burnsville & Yancey County who helped us create this website. Thank you.
